Summary
The King of Tears, Lee Bang-won sheds new light on leader Yi Bang-won, who took the initiative to establish the Empire of Joseon during the end of the Goryeo Dynasty and early Joseon Dynasty when the ancient order of Goryeo was destroyed and the new order of Joseon was created.

Besides all previous portraits of Lee Bang Won, these tv series show a very human and empathic, Family man. With good intentions, and are the time and the events that transform Lee Bang Woo into a monster everybody knows in history. Maybe this is a more accurate view of this King since his achievements look like come from a good guy with a very long-term and strategic mind.
